Anantnag: At least eight residential houses were blazed in a fire incident in the Khanbal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, on Tuesday.
Quoting an official, Kashmir Scroll reported that a fire broke out in the boat colony area of Khanbal which engulfed several houses.
He mentioned that the fire was successfully contained, though not without causing partial damage to multiple residential houses.
The houses belong to Ab Gani Wani S/O Gh.Mohd, M Ashraf Pushu S/O Gh.Qadir, Sajad Wani S/O Ab Gani, Mushtaq Handroo S/O Ab.Aziz, Nisar Ahmad Gadda S/O Ab Rehman, Baby Jan W/O Mohd Ismail, Mukhtar Ahmad Guru S/O Gh Mohd and Javaid Ahmad Shaksaaz S/O Ab Gaffar, all residents of Boat Colony Khanabal.”
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started an investigation in this regard.
