Doda: At least three people, including a couple, have been taken in for questioning over the recent attacks in Chenab Valley’s Doda, according to sources.
These three individuals hail from the Jai area of Doda district and include a couple and a teenager.
According to officials, they are suspected of providing food to the militants and failing to report their movements, sources said.
Authorities believe that the militants are present in the upper reaches of the district.
It is pertinent to mention that after the Reasi attack, two attacks occurred in Chenab Valley.
On the night of June 11, five troopers and a Special Police Officer (SPO) were injured after militants attacked the Indian military’s Temporary Operating Base in Doda. A policeman was injured when militants opened fire on security forces in the Gandoh area of Bhaderwah.
