New Delhi/Srinagar: Officials from the Delhi Police arrested a Kashmiri man accused of being a 'Key Conspirator' in a militancy module operating in North Kashmir's Kupwara district.
As per the Official, the accused has been identified as Riyaz Ahmad who was apprehended while attempting to flee from Delhi Railway Station, where he was subsequently arrested.
“The accused was involved in hatching ammunition along with his two mates, Khursheed Ahmad Rather and Ghulam Sarwar Rather who were receiving arms and ammunition from across the LoC by the different handlers,” the official added.
Furthermore, a mobile and a SIM card has been recovered from the accused and he is currently under arrest with appropriate sections of laws, he further added.
Additionally, under FIR No: 07/2024 US 120B IPC, 7/25 Indian Arms Act a case has been already registered in Police Station-Karnah, Kupwara against the accused.
