Srinagar: A scooty-rider (two-wheeler) was killed after being allegedly hit by a vehicle of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) military wing of the Indian army in Humhama area in central Kashmir Budgam district on Saturday.
As per reports, he was hit by a Caspher (vehicle) of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) of 14 Battalion as a result, he died on the spot.
A police official identified the deceased as Nazir Ahmad Bhat (56) son of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat and a resident of Samerbugh area of Lasjan.
His body has been shifted to SMHS hospital for medico-legal formalities, he said.
A case has been registered and further investigation has been set into motion, he added.
