Gurez, May 7 – The Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Dawar in Gurez Valley has been shifted back to its old building following official directives and an administrative review.
According to a circular from the Office of the Block Medical Officer, Gurez, the relocation was carried out on the directions of the MLA Gurez and in view of key operational needs, including the presence of a functional operation theatre and a safety bunker at the old premises.
The circular further stated that all medical staff have been instructed to ensure the timely and coordinated transfer of essential services, equipment, and records.
Authorities said the transition is intended to maintain uninterrupted healthcare delivery.
