Shopian: Two Over Ground Workers (OGWs) were arrested along with a pistol and two grenades in the Imamsahib area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district, according to the J&K Police.
They have been identified as Zaffar Azad Ganie, son of Mohd Azad Ganie, and Amir Ahmad, son of Zahoor Ahmad Mir, both residents of Motjan, Shopian.
A senior police officer stated that a joint team of Police and 34 RR conducted a cordon and search operation, leading to the arrest of the two hardcore Over Ground Workers.
"One pistol, two grenades, and eight rounds of ammunition were recovered from their possession," he added.
