Srinagar: The Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar has announced the timing for congressional Eid-ul-Adha prayers at the Eidgah in Srinagar. The prayers will begin at 9:00 AM and if wet weather persists, the historic mosque will serve as a substitute.
“The prayers are scheduled at 9:00 AM in Eidgah. In the event of rain or adverse weather conditions, the Eid prayers will take place at Jama Masjid Srinagar, maintaining the same prayer timing,” the religious body said.
Attendees are kindly requested to bring their prayer mats (Jai Namaz) along with them, it said.
It also highlighted the significance of congregational prayers in strengthening the bond between ummah (the whole community of Muslims bound together by ties of religion).
